UEFA Super Cup prize money revealed – Details
It will be the first time that the competition has had an all-English match and it gives both teams a chance to boost their momentum for the new Premier Leagueseason.
Liverpool defeated Tottenham 2-1 in the Champions League final earlier this year to qualify for the match, while Chelsea won 4-1 against Arsenal in the final of the Europa League.

What does the UEFA Super Cup winner get?
Both teams will earn €3.5 million (£3.3 million) for taking part in the match, with winner also claiming a bonus of €1 million (£940,000).
The winners will also get to lift the Super Cup trophy after securing victory and becoming the first English team to win since 2005.
Chelsea last competed in the Super Cup in 2013 after they last won the Europa League, but they lost to Champions league winners Bayern Munich.
Liverpool’s last appearance was in 2005 when they defeated CSKA Moscow 3-1 at Stade Louis II in Monaco.
